Gigging!

Hi there folks...
I've been out performing gig after gig and haven't found the time to update the Blog.
We have been performing all over Sweden and it has been a real pleasure to see Autumn evolve. The most beautiful colors all around us making our life so much easier despite the decay of temperature that comes with this melancholic season.

We had a wonderful gig in Stockholm on a private party.
The restaurant were it all took place had a extraordinary view of the "Mälaren" between Normalm and Södermalm. It was a great party with tasty food and a cheerful atmosphere. The dumbest thing is that I did forget my camera an missed the obvious opportunity of capturing the moment with some nice pictures.

We also performed on a wedding party in the suburbs of Västerås. The fiesta was a all in all in a genial manner and as most weddings it was mostly a long wait before the actual action began to take place.
By the way! The picture is taken just outside the wedding chapel. (You can see the drummer Alvaro in the background and Peter on congas and vocals on the right)

Last but not least I should mention Falun!
A typical pub-gig with most customers drunk and happy.

I hope you have had a terrific time wile I was gone, but for now I have to say: So long and hope to see you all soon.

Au revoir
/Eric

My Home Studio

Welcome to my home recording studio!

I have slowly managed to get a little home studio of my own that will enable me to record my first record all on my own.
The plan is to make enough song material to release a full length album during 2006. I will let you all listen to the music and follow as it develops to become the finished product. As soon as one track is on the mixing-table, I'll try to up it to the a server that will be linked to this location. And if you guys don't mind I would love if you could send me your comments and tell me what you like and dislike.
But please be patient cause right now I have a lot of gigs and have to concentrate on nailing those damn good.
So join in and let yourself be part of the music.

Saludos y hasta luego.

Signing the contract

Sorry to disappoint you readers but this isn't a record deal! It isn't a contract with the devil either....
So what am I talking about then?

It's the contract to our new un-compact living.
Finally I will get a room solemnly for my new and improved recording studio!
The house we've bought consists of a two store villa with carport. It is a brand new project and the estimated date for the siege is between February and March.
I can't wait till the day when we finally are moving to our own property:-)

Cheers

Recording Drums.

Today my good friend Martin persuaded me in helping him recording drums to his new project.
The drummer he had hired was a real rock drummer by the name Tony. He is a big guy with the strength of 3 bulls so you can only imagine the amount force and power his poor drums are accustomed to take.
Well all in all it went quite smoothly. We ended up with 6 new tracks and Martin was satisfied. I had a little problem with my setup but managed to find the bugs that were causing it.
All in all it was a very nice day.

Saludos!
